Camo Bible

We had J's dedication today at our church and J received this amazing, darling, Big Boy Bible from a family friend. How cool is this??? I want to order Big J one who cares that it is a "child's" Bible!! It is an International Children's Bible, by Thomas Nelson. They run about $20 BUT what an amazing investment for your child or Husband!

Canopy Bedding

We have a King size bed and I can NEVER bring myself to buy new sheet because I do not want to spend $100. The other day I saw a Wal-Mart commercial and they were introducing their new line: Canopy for bedding. They are made with Egyptian Cotton, 400 thread count (I know not that high but...), and say that more you wash the softer they get. So I ran out and got us some for about $50!!!! I was so thrilled Big J was a little leery about them but after I washed them and put them on he was sold! They are amazing and feel so so good! I am going to go get another set I loved them so much!!

The Whisper Ride Buggy

J is 100% in LOVE with his Whisper Ride Buggy. When he woke up and came down the stairs and saw his buggy his eyes got so big and started to giggle. He loves to ride in his buggy and honk the horn. He even pulls it into the TV room and sits in it to watch Yo Gabba Gabba. Too cute! This would be a great 1st or 2nd birthday present or even better, under the tree!! They come in blue and pink and run about $60. Very Very Fun!!

Sippy Sippy!!

J LOVES his Munchkin: My 1st Cup!
This is the ONLY sippy cup J will drink out of! AND trust me we have tried them ALL. He just LOVES them and the 10oz is great for when they MASTER the 8oz! J feels like a BIG boy with the 10oz because there are NO handles. I can not wait for my labels to get in so I can LABEL his sippy cups, the ones we have now are too big and come off. The 8oz and 10oz run about $3 each.

A Baby Proof MUST Have!

For the 1st few months of J's mobility the simple plug cover was plenty for us. Well, J found out that when a cord is plugged in that he LIKES to pull them out :/ So for about a month I had pillows and blankets covering our sockets when cords were plugged in. J is smart like his Dadda and realized quick what was behind that pillow/blanket tent! So I was talking with Big J about inventing an outlet cover for when a cord is plugged in...Great Idea Right??? Well, Safety 1st thought so as well and invented it before I did! Anyhoo, I am in LOVE with this $7 Outlet Cover with Cord Shortener by, Safety 1st. Big J said it was S-I-M-P-L-E to install!Oh, I found our at the great ole H-E-B!

Bubbles!

YES!! The Gymboree Bubbles are a MUST have in our house!!!

We play with these bubbles daily and mostly inside. J just LOVES them and J the dog does as well! I have been getting them to take to friends houses for play dates and I am thinking about getting them for all of J's buddies for Christmas. They run about $6 and the refill is about $3.50.
